make yourself at home

Beloit’s a welcoming place

If you want to hang out, just open your door. Since almost everyone lives on campus (96% of us), we have dorms and special-interest houses that fit most students’ lifestyles — and food that appeals to vegans, locavores, and burger-lovers alike.

Tight-KNIT AND INCLUSIVE

We are multi-hyphenates

Artists and athletes, gamers and sorority sisters, poets and pragmatists, dancers and data analysts, economists and environmentalists.

Beloit students seldom limit themselves to one interest or activity. Whatever you’re into, you’ll find a supportive campus community that comes together because of, not in spite of, our differences.

Stay in or venture out

There’s lots to do beyond your res hall lounge. Kickboxing, Zen meditation, improv theater, ultimate frisbee, intramural soccer, Black Students United, six Greek houses, Chess Club, Feminist Collective, WBCR college radio, Maker Lab, Latinx Voices, urban gardening, Model UN … you get the idea.

Josie Griffin’21

Creating a career path through the intersection of study and practice

For Josie, developing a true Beloit experience comes from a diverse range of activities. The background she has built at Beloit, including triple majoring (anthropology, sociology, and classic civilizations) and off-campus involvement, has allowed her to advance and solidify her career path.
